The Zero-Waste Origin Story

The original white oak logs from the Grandoor Frames workshop

A door frame company with a wood problem. A good one.

Grandoor Frames manufactures premium commercial door frames — the kind you find in hotels, condominiums, and commercial buildings across the country. Every production run uses fire-rated white oak and poplar stock cut to precise architectural specifications.

That precision leaves behind offcuts. Perfectly good pieces of premium hardwood — typically 6 to 12 inches long — that don't fit the door frame template but are otherwise flawless. For years, that wood went to landfill.

OffcutCo was built to change that. We take those offcuts and craft them into cutting boards, charcuterie boards, coasters, and accessories that belong in your kitchen and on your table. Every piece carries the same quality standards applied to architectural projects.

This isn't reclaimed pallet wood or barn lumber. This is white oak — the same species used in whiskey barrels and boat hulls — with documented provenance from our Texas workshop. When you buy from OffcutCo, you're getting hardwood that most retailers charge $8–$12 per board foot for, turned into something that will outlast the furniture around it.
